The entire student body attended an assembly to honor our veterans. Students prepared essays, poems and sang, to show their gratitude and appreciation for all those who have served our country, so that we may enjoy our freedom!
Students enjoyed Halloween with a school parade and classroom parties afterwards!
Students were treated to a Halloween Band Concert. Songs included Jaws, Theme from Harry Potter, and Fantasia. Ms. Taube is the band conductor. Great job, students!

John Goedert, from JP Morgan, shared information about how the stock market works. Eighth grade students are reading a novel called The Westing Game, and will set up a phony stock market account. John shared his expertise with our students.
Sixth grade girls won 1st place in the Cross-Country Championship Tournament. Sixth grade boys won 2nd place in the Cross-Country Championship Tournament. Students were proud to share their trophies and medals! Congratulations!
Claudia and Carina won the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Leyden Township Athletic Softball Tournament. Their rendition of our National Anthem was beautiful and inspiring. Congratulations girls and thank you for representing Pennoyer School!
