Students in grade 3 participated in the Wax Museum. The Wax Museum came to life as students shared details of heroes, scientists, sports figures, political figures, historical figures and entertainment personalities lives. Ms. Dylag and the students did an excellent job preparing for the event. Special thanks to Mrs. Adkins and all the parent volunteers.
Save the date for our Pennoyer School Wellness Fair, Thursday, February 27, at 6:30 pm. This event is a community wide effort to promote healthy lifestyles. There will be representatives from Mariano's, LA Fitness, Resurrection Hospital, and Walgreens. There will be food demonstrations, organic farm produce to purchase, zumba lessons, yoga lessons, taekwondo lessons, and an inspirational room, as well as a raffle.

Students in grades K-5 participated in our Winter Music Program. Pennoyer has lots of spirit and talent.
Mrs. Malusa's Social Studies class prepared board games on ancient Egypt to test their knowledge in geography and social studies. Students will play the games to study for an upcoming test!
Student Council presented our school board with a small token of gratitude for their time and commitment to our school. Thank you School Board members! Students on the cross country team were acknowledged, as well as the winners of the National Anthem Vocal Contest at the November 13, school board meeting.
