QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"One thing I never want to see happen is schools that are just teaching the test because then you're not learning about the world, you're not learning about different cultures, you're not learning about science, you're not learning about math. All you're learning about is how to fill out a little bubble on an exam and little tricks that you need to do in order to take a test and that's not going to make education interesting." -- President Barack Obama, in a question-and-answer session at Bell Multicultural High School in Washington, D.C.

Senator Dan Kotowski visits the 7th and 8th grade!

Pennoyer school is very grateful to Senator Dan Kotowski for spending quality educational time with the Pennoyer 7th and 8th grade students today! The senator interacted with the students on topics such as state finances, policy making, community issues, and governance. The senator's visit is part of the Pennoyer school commitment to partnerships with government, business, and the community as we all partner together to educate our youth!  Pictures of Senator Kotowski's visit will be posted.
