May 5, Pennoyer School Board and Administration said good-bye to longtime member, Patrizia Alaimo. Ms. Alaimo served 18 years on the board before deciding to retire. She has contributed positively to the board and worked to move Pennoyer forward.
Newly elected school board members, Mark Neri, Mark Diatte, and Lisa Nixon are sworn in at a special meeting on May 5.

Congratulations to the Pennoyer 8th grade basketball team for winning the blue division of the Leyden-Norwood Athletic Association. The boys played in the championship game Thursday night and presented Pennoyer School with a second place trophy. We are very proud of all the boys and to Mr. Nelsen their coach.
PTC moms, Mrs. Milano and Mrs. Smith, are busy beautifying our school. We are thankful and happy for their help. It is this kind of support that makes Pennoyer School great!
Superintendent, Brad Voehringer, attended the Memorial Day Service in Norridge and presented a wreath to honor all those that have fallen while serving our country.
