Kindergarten tradition continues at Pennoyer School!

We are Thankful for many things in our Kindergarten classrooms.  We enjoy sharing our feast with family members and students.  Children remember the fun and excitement involved in learning about the first Thanksgiving feast . The annual Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast with actual turkey cooked by Ms. Becker and Ms. Shaw; and attended by the Pilgrims, Native Americans, and parents will be held on Monday, November 22, 2010.

This has been a special event at Pennoyer for the past 25 years.

At the regular monthly school board meeting Nov. 10, The elected members of the board of education were honored in connection with the Nov. 15 Illinois School Board Appreciation Day. Across the state efforts of school board members often go unrecognized and unrewarded, so Pennoyer students, staff and administrators wanted to take the time to thank our board members for their dedication to the school, district and the community.
