Students and families need Internet access at home. That's why, last year, Comcast introduced Internet Essentials - a program that gives eligible low-income families Internetservice in their homes for $9.95 a month, a computer for $150, and free digital literacy training. In its first year, more than13,000 Illinois families signed up for the program.
